Forearm Tattoo Stencils

Long vertical designs for the forearm, and armbands printed to the exact measurement of your arm.

Armbands sized to your arm

Wrap a soft tape measure around your arm where the band will sit. Pick the file with that number: the band prints at exactly that length, and the pattern repeats a whole number of times so the two ends meet without a gap.

Typical arm measurements

  • Wrist and lower forearm: 6–8 in. The files here start at 9 in; for a smaller band, print the 9 in file at a reduced scale (8 in = 89%).
  • Upper forearm: 9–11 in.
  • Upper arm and bicep: 11–16 in.

Vertical designs

The sword, pine tree, arrow and mountains above are drawn at about 1 : 3 width to height, which follows the shape of the forearm. They print 6 inches tall; scale them to the length of your forearm.

Questions

Which size should I download?

Measure around your arm where the band will sit and round to the nearest inch. If you are between two sizes, choose the smaller one: the band will sit snug rather than loose.

How do I join a band that is printed in parts?

Cut each part on the dashed marks and tape the end of one part to the start of the next, as labelled on the sheet. The pattern lines up across the join.

Can I use the vertical designs on the calf?

Yes. Long, narrow designs suit the calf and shin as well as the forearm.
